Sacramento school district serves most of Sacramento, from Natomas, San Juan, Center, North Sacramento, Grant Joint, Del Paso, Rio Linda, and Rolba. Considered to have one of the top school districts in the country, Sacramento proves to be an ideal living environment for families with kids.
Sacramento can date their scholastic history to 1895, where the operating St. Francis of Assisi Grammar school still exists. There also includes All Hallows, with their 1948 inaugural opening to St. Peter with their 1955 opening as well. In addition, some of the new schools opening in 2005 include St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and John Paul II School.
Sacramento is also home to prestigious universities and vocational schools. In 2004, Sacramento State grew to 23,000 undergraduates, as well as 5,400 graduate students attending their eight colleges.
