I see this as being the next large segment of the real estate market. Prior to considering this option I suggest consulting an attorney or accountant to make certain this fits your profile as well as possible ramifications.
With all of these changes I am seeing a smaller inventory of unsold homes, a greater pride of ownership in our neighborhood and, most importantly, I am seeing evidence of price appreciation. It may be modest but certainly welcome. Is this a normal market? No, but it is the reality for the foreseeable future. I am hoping that we may have seen the bottom in the second quarter of 2009 with a slow recovery over the next several years. All we need is the banks continued cooperation.
